Free Patterns for Background Images and Designs

October 7, 2008

Good morning everyone. I’ve actually been up all night (again) updating things on the site. I really hate when I do that, but I seem to have endless energy when I’m doing design work. I could climb into bed at midnight but I’d be lying there wide awake for hours. Ugh.

Anyway, last week I figured out how to (more easily) create nice tiled background images. Of course I went hog wild creating a few… hundred. I posted two sets for you in the Tools section of the site. They’re under Tools:Photoshop:Patterns. The two sets are Patmos and Sargaso.

Both sets include a download of individual images you can use with your web pages and/or a Photoshop pattern ( .pat ) file you can use with Photoshop. I’m not going to get into how you use Photoshop pattern files so read the help docs if you want to take advantage of that deal. I might explain it later if I have time.

Okay NOW I’m off to get some sleep :)

Cheers!
