Well I agree with you there dude... it's not what what made Aerolite popular. Kinda stuck with the limitations of RW that way.

You would not believe how tricky it is to get the header to accommodate the logo, site title and tagline. I have never written such crazy HTML and CSS. You have to consider whether the logo will be present or not, whether the content is left, center or right aligned, how the text will align vertically to the logo, if the logo is there, and how it aligns when the logo is not there. Gads!

I wasn't saying this in any negative way! :-) I also know that Bitsmuishi isn't a font that works well in the web (if at all) - it was a joke.
I just thought that Aerolite is something modern and then I see a font in your demo which does kind of look a bit newspaperish (whether serif or not). But whatever ... other than that I like the themes :-)

I'm working on putting stuff together today Jamie. I'll keep you posted via email :)

Max what are you talking about? At the moment, the font specified (in the demo) for headings is Optima, with Lucida Grande as the secondary. So if you don't have Optima installed, you're seeing Lucida Grande - neither of which are serif fonts.

These themes have 13 heading font family options which can easily be edited to suit your personal needs. Using Bitsumishi would be useless though, since it's not a web font - no one would see it except for people who bothered to find it on the web and install it.

No cool Bitsumishi font for Aerolite? Make it at least Helvetica ... but a serif font just doesn't fit. :-D

Hey Suzanne:

I'm chomping at the bit to try your new Rapidweaver demos. I've been learning the Rapidweaver ropes for the last three days solid and their built-in themes don't hold a candle to anything you make. I'm looking forward to creating my own themes, but more forward to using yours as I know they will come with no headaches attached. I'm a big 11 mystics fan.

Jamie - I love hearing from you guys all the time. I've received and written A LOT of emails over the last 2.5 years. I don't think I've forgotten a name yet. Good to see you show up here again.

RapidWeaver can do some very nice stuff - the plug-ins are a nice piece of that. I like building traditional themes too. It's good all around.

I'll get back to you later on the "3 for 2" deal. I'm just getting home and have to feed the family and unpack from the day, etc.

Brilliant. I have just migrated to Rapidweaver and am beginning the learning curve. Now I can take you with me. Love the aerolite and lightside but happy to leave the coding nightmares of iWeb.

Best,
