Softwhite Theme Update Posted

May 18, 2008

I just uloaded a new version of the Softwhite theme for iWeb 2.0. This update includes a fix for the vertical navigation menu where the selected page and the hover effect were extending beyond the width of the menu itself.

I’ve tested this fix and you can view it live in the online demo. The welcome page is the only page that uses the vertical menu where this bug existed.

Please contact me if you have any trouble downloading or installing the update. Remember, this does not fix any page you’ve already created using the theme. It only fixes the template. All new pages you create with it will include the fix and work correctly.

Cheerios!

Thanks Suzanne for fixing this. I love this template but had to dump it after I had created a website because of the dysfunctional hover and it’s skewered image on PCs. It’s a great design and I’m happy to have it back in my stable.

And speaking of design, your newly configured website looks fab!

Yep I figured out what the issue was finally and it’s good to go Jamie. In fact, now that I know what the trick is for those menus, I may just do a vertical in another theme too. TBD :)
