Okay found and fixed the blasted blog bug. Next time I create that bug and I forget, someone remind me that it’s a reference to a media file I deleted… i.e. the header overlay PNG I delete out but don’t realize another entry is pointing to it. That’s what you get when you try to cheat a bit with automation.

The only other problem is that I am not able to publish with iWeb anymore. I don’t know what the problem is, but iWeb crashes every time I try to publish. The only thing that’s changed is the fact I upgraded to Leopard so God knows what the problem is. I’m on a G5 Quad so if anyone has info one a known problem let me know. I can’t test comments if I can’t publish a test site using this theme :-\

  • Place this entry in mail as a note and … don’t delete it like that media file :-)

  • I started my web log specifically for this purpose! :) I kept doing cool unique things and then would forget how I did them! While others may find some useful stuff there, too, it’s always good to have a public google-searchable way to find my explanation for some obscure set of commands that help me to do what I’m trying to do ;D

  • Published my website for a minor update and it worked for me.

I am using Leopard on a first generation Intel imac (2 gb ram),
    the latest Quicktime-version.

“Try the menu command is the solution for some” i read on the web

  • Suz,

I was able to do a minor update to my website, but I had a problem trying to add a blog entry - creating a new entry resulted in a blank white page with the headings all stuck at the top in a clump. I was able to duplicate an entry and just edit & publish fine, but haven’t had a chance to see what else might be up with the white page thing. I upgraded to Leopard last week when I bought myself a new MBPro 15″ - yay! After working on an old iMac (the one that looks like 1/2 a white basketball), this thing rocks!

  • There seem to be considerably more bugs associated with the PowerPC chip-sets running OS X 10.50 Leopard than Intel, although obviously that is not a panacea …

  • Yeah I’d agree with that Singulus - boy I can crash applications like nobody’s business now. It’s a bit frustrating to say the least. I still have this annoying bug too where whatever is on my clipboard disappears when I’m pasting stuff. That bug existed long before Leopard got here - I assumed they’d at least catch that.

Ron are you talking about Ecuador? Send me an email with the details will you?
