Good day peeps… here’s some news from the codeland. I’m grumbling again. I have been working on Lightside and Arcturus and those two themes are really difficult themes to create. ARG! I have a way to add things to pages a bit more easily now, but that same technique wreaks havoc on the blog/podcast and photos pages. It’s a curse and a blessing in one. I’ve been having dreams that I’m in some vehicle or building and then it takes off at high speed and crashes! I was in a cabin in one dream and it came off its foundation and slid down a giant hill into a river. In another dream I jumped out of a plane that was going to crash before it even left the ground. I lamented the fact that my super-power desktop was in the cargo, but I made an effort to grab my backpack and jump out to safety. Upon hitting the ground, I cheered and proclaimed, “Ha! I saved my iPhone!” Now I ask you… honestly… am I working a bit too much??? LOL :) HECK YA - iPhone saved from horrible disaster. The world celebrates!!
Lord.
I went out and tended to my lawn this morning just to catch a mental break. So these two templates are really creating trouble for me at the moment. I’ll ask for your patience through this.
Other news… hum… what was I going to tell you. Now I can’t remember. Frames - it’s looking like we’ll be able to do frames again, but to what extent I don’t know. I will look into this after the themes are updated.
Bugs - I have verified that iWeb is capable of manipulating the file names within a template :-O I have no idea why it would do this, but it appended -1 to an image file name within the actual template, twice now. It does this with your domain information - and not always correctly I might add (missing images bug). But why it would change the file names in the template itself is just illogical.
I’ll think of more and post it in the comments. Try to keep emails really short and sweet right now. A lot of people have been asking me how I created this or that or how I created the store or they want me to rewrite the last four weeks of developments in a reply - ouch. The best I can do is have you read here and use the search function. I try to get to everyone within a few days, but the email is heavy. Thanks to you all for so much great support during all this. It has helped tremendously.
