Oh I have some goodies for Aerolite users… but first… My site may be a bit slow today. Macworld plugged me in an article and about iWeb 2.0 today! I notice traffic is heavy.
Now, all Aerolite customers can log in to their accounts, find and download a new zip file I’ve uploaded full of replacement background images for your theme. If you don’t like that pavement-like background image that Aerolite comes with, you can now choose a new color or pattern. Instructions are in the download. A few examples are shown below.
In each new set of images, I include three different page backgrounds that you can specify using iWeb’s page inspector. Obviously your theme has either “white” or “dark” page backgrounds set in the template, but you can swap these using the page inspector as you know. Save the download folder on your hard drive and you’ll be able to find and use those page background images whenever you want. I include white page images, dark page images and a page image that’s entirely black for those of you that must have a black page background.
Also in the download is the image used to create the section headings in the original Aerolite version for iWeb 1.0. You can use that image to create the little rectangular section headings. See the instructions for more detail.
With these images, it’s also possible to put the dark nav bar on white pages and the silver nav bar on dark pages. See the instructions.

Of course, I want to start with the Sage background, and the sage bg_header.jpg file has a slight problem. One out of 29 is not bad… ;-O

Fixed. Send links when you create something with these new images. I’m really curious to see what people do with them!
Ohh… is that a challenge to have a site like bamcentral.org up by midnight? Don’t think I am up to that challenge tonight. ;-D
BTW, the board loved the new site using Mystics. They really like AquaPRO, but I don’t think they will let me change from Mystics now. (It does look nice if I say so myself!)
Ah! That’s so great to hear! It really is great when people write and tell me how much they really love their sites that use my theme. Nothing better than that :)
