  • Hey Suzanne :)
    Your’e working fast :)

I’m finished at the moment with my site…Just configured another blog solution to it, and got it to work….

I’m still a bit frustrated with Apple for not making all the functions available to work with other webhosting services other than .Mac…

But hey…most of it works anyway :)

Did all go well at your Fathers? Hope all is well with you and yours :)

    Cheers :)

  • Yep, had a good time with my dad. He’s so funny. You just have to keep an eye on him cuz he likes to just go do something, like drive off to the vegetable stand without telling anyone LOL. We went shopping at his favorite store, Home Depot. He’s been badgering me to install a storm door on my front door so we got that picked out at least. That was enough then. He was bushed and had to take a nap :)

I have dad duty next month as well. Hopefully everything will be complete by then though.

  • Ha! Finally fixed my comments too. Productive day.

  • Sorry, I think I should have posted this here. How do I get the three panel (or column) welcome page and blog pages as shown in the screenshots of the other colours in this series.
I have installed and started a Welcome page and it is only two columns wide and has none of the nice bubble type buttons for titles as shown on the Ice page. Thanks, Dave

  • The custom layouts might be a thing of the past Dave. We were able to create custom layouts in iWeb 1.0, but our tools for that do not work with the new 2.0 architecture and we’re not sure we can build new one either. Apple apparently has moved the code within the application itself (where it used to reside in the domain files) so for now, we’re stuck with duplicating Apple themes and basically changing the styles. Custom layouts are virtually impossible.

  • Ahh, meat muffins. :( I’m sure there’s a reason for it, but still…

  • Well let’s hope it’s not because they don’t want people making themes. I could understand that, but I hope they just write to me and say, “We’d rather you not make themes for the moment because we’re trying to manage QA right now,” rather than something else.

My hands are tied in that respect, but you can still easily duplicate those layouts simply by putting your pictures and text on the page in the same way. Even a brand new user can do that easily.
