About This Article •
I’m off to spend some time with my family today - we’ve always celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve so that’s where I’m headed. My dad bought 60 lottery tickets for the occasion so if I come back rich, there will be more than just this gift for you ;) So here’s what I have…

First, that code there is a coupon code that’s good until January 10th, 2007 for 10% off any of the templates available via your account. It’s a one-time only coupon so be sure you know exactly what you want, and everything that you want. Enter the coupon code in the entryfield next to the buy now button on your account home page to get the discount on your order.
Second, I just uploaded well over 100MB of neat little (some BIG) PNG images for use in your iWeb pages. There must be nearly 30 packs and each pack contains between 70-125 shape images. Each pack uses a different style and some are semi-transparent which makes for some neat effects when you lay them over other things on your page! The semi-transparent ones appear very dark on the download page because the dark background of my page is showing thru the icon. When I switch over to the new theme in my account pages, they’ll appear more pastel with the white background.
All of the shapes are available in the Free Stuff area. Just log in and download them. Enjoy!
Wanted to give you a heads up on another cool app I found recently that makes creating cool button-type things a breeze!

Whoa - their chrome (lead) filter is pretty nice! I wish that other app you use wasn’t so complex. That thing is cool. What’s the name again… something QTI? To make rollover buttons like that would be uber handy for iWebbers!
This was the kind of thing I’ve been waiting to happen for awhile. I knew that, used properly, Core Image could replicate many of the simplest “layer effects” that Photoshop is known for, now for Apple to make it easy to do so that more apps can do the same thing just as easily.
It’s eZedia QTI and, yeah, it takes a little working with to handle it, but once you’ve got it, it becomes a quicky little way to add some interaction without post processing.
Hey you guys….I found that belightsoftware too and have been making amazing headers. Things I never thought were possible for a graphics challeneged person like myself. Very easy to operate. Unbelievable….well worth the money.
I am on board w/the eZedia QTI since Ken pointed it out in the Apple forum…..Wow…..learning curve steep but once you get the hang of it…..stand back…..great buttons w/ super cool F/X.
Hey I heard Ken was developing a “Crab” antidote. This is uh not what you might think……this is regarding the “Crab” movie. I will volunteer for testing :)
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to you all.
is it possible for the coupon offer to be extended?? pretty please??
Hi.
I have just registered on the site, and love the idea of the free .png files, and would like to download them. Can’t find a way to get to the free stuff page though. How do i access it?
Regards
David Tobin (dt2080)
Greetings!
I am having the same trouble as David locating the Free Shapes. I love them and would like to try them out. Can you help?
Thanks,
Susan Garrard
Guys, click the My Account link in the nav bar above and create an account using the same information you used for the blog account. That will get you into the area where the free stuff is. The system that runs my account management and the system that runs the blog are separate, but your ID’s can be synchronized so you only have to log-in once to use both (i.e. leave comments in the blog or add templates and frames to your private collection). If you make a store account first, then a blog account is automatically created for you. If you make the blog account first, then you also have to create the store account, but use the same username, email address and password - that way, the store system will synchronize your two accounts for you.
How do I download? Not seeing a link…
Click the My Account button on the navigation bar at the top of the page. Once you’re logged in, click the FREE STUFF link and they’re all in there.
