Arcturus iWeb Templates Released

December 10, 2006

Busy day I guess! This template was a special request for a semi-exclusive (it’s more expensive) release. It was originally designed over a year ago for an online e-commerce interface, but was never used. A friend of mine requested the resurrection so here we have it – a ported version for iWeb. Click here for the screens!

I will be creating a screencast for this template because it contains so many unique elements that probably need some explanation. There are custom graphics and shapes on every page. I’ll get to that shortly.

Often, people like to use the blog as their home page so this blog contains some elements that would make that more easy

I was really happy with the way the calendar styles turned out on this one.

This template includes the store and product pages like most of the others. For the record, it also contains the custom photo gallery pages too.

Hee hee… you would not believe the note I got from Jabberwock – she’s sending me the bill for her Templates Anonymous therapy sessions :D Can’t wait to see your site Mike – not I can tell YOU to hurry up!!

It’s like a drug. I never thought I’d be so giddily hooked on something. It looks like an all-nighter to redesign my site only to have Suzanne put something out in a couple of days that sends me into a frenzy of redisign. ;D

I wonder (jokingly) if there are hypnotic subliminal messages embedded in these templates…ROFL.

Oh it’s available – just log in to your account. You may have to create yours yet. Just create the account using the same ID (swissjoker) and password you use for this blog and it will notice you already have an account for this blog and synchronize your two accounts together. Don’t bother clicking the link that “checks for uniqueness”. It will obviously find your existing account and tell you the name is taken. We know that so don’t bother ;-)

When you’ve logged in, Arcturus is in the list of templates on your account home page. Just select the checkbox next to Arcturus, click the buy now button, pay at PayPal and then it will show up in your collection list to the left of the template list on the account home page.

For a screenshot, see this post.

    Hi there,

Question–I bought the Arcturus templates but I do’t see the store and products pages. Is there something else I need to download?

    Thanks
    Steve

Steve – they’re in the second pack under the page names About Me and Blog. I can’t change the page names, but the content on those pages is indeed the store and product layouts.

Well I don’t know how I did it but I modified the XML as Suzanne taught us and managed to alter the front page of my site using Arcturus. I feel like it is an x-files site. Not fully polished but here it is…..guess what I am saying is you can make this fabulous template into what you want. Thanx Suzanne :) for your creations and for your instruction/tutorials.
