Ah... so glad to see you here my friend :) You know, I found this very funny/odd myself. Why is he asking me for my thoughts? Well you're right, it's much harder for us to see our own situations clearly. I think this is due to the fact that our emotional involvement clouds things. Emotions are chemical reactions in the body to thoughts. When we're involved in any situation, we tend to "think" many things about it. In our minds, we run over all the different scenarios, we try to determine what others in the situaiton are thinking and feeling. All of these thoughts are also causing emotional responses, some mild, some may be strong.

So when you're trying to use your intuition, which is far more subtle than your thoughts or your emotions, the stronger influences tend to cloud them. In Tim's case, he had his heart set on the building across the street. He wouldn't stop asking about it. I told him about the log building a few times, but he just noted it and went back to the other topic. Obviously his desires were getting in his way on that one. I should find out if there have been any updates to that story.

One of the things I'm learning is to remove your own thoughts and emotions when trying to work with a situation. Perception is a strangely (and scary) powerful thing. The perceptions you choose to hold will color any situation in which you find yourself so you've already clouded your experience by walking into it with judgements about what it is. It's really hard not to do this, but if you can set aside your thoughts and hence, emotions, working with any given situation become far easier and more clear because you're allowing space where your intuition can actually assist you.

I am wondering...

You see for Tim, Tim sees for you? This seems like an obvious question, but why is it harder us to see our personal path?
