Well this was long overdue - a new look and feel for my iWeb site. Yep, it���s true - this site is ENTIRELY created and managed with iWeb! The new design is a modification of my new template Aerolite. Some of the things I did had to be changed in the XML so unless you like tinkering with code, it would not be possible to do this entirely with Aerolite, however the guts are basically the same.
I have a few web site templates from TemplateMonster.com that also played into this design. When you buy those templates, you also get the Photoshop design files so I���ve taken a number of details from those templates and used them here in this one. Every woman knows it���s all about the accessories ;-) I tried to put some visual detail into this site to make it more interesting. So far I like it a lot.
I���m just starting to recreate the site using this new design so there will be a few days where I have mixed pages on the site. I���m also going to reorganize and update my documents and other downloads. You might have to poke around to find things for a bit until the dust settles.
Note: At the time of the original post, this site WAS entirely managed with iWeb, but I have since resurrected my WordPress blog and integrated the design so you’re now reading this partially through WordPress and not iWeb. However, WordPress is using iframes to pull in my iWeb content in four different areas! I manage the gutters, header and footer this way - much easier than trying to create that kind of content by hand with HTML and CSS.
